Often when designing automation systems, a combination of microcontroller-based platforms, such as the AVR type, and a mini- or single-board computer is used.

In such solutions, as a rule, microcontrollers control actuators, receive data from various sensors and transmit this information to a computer, which, in turn, based on data received and (or) accessible through built-in programs, can control how the microcontroller operates, and ensuring data transfer to other devices of the system.

In our daily life, we use a large number of Android devices such as smartphones, tablets and TV boxes. These are fairly high-performance mini-computers with plenty of RAM, disk space, USB and various network interfaces, and many of them have geolocation devices, gyroscopes, cameras and much more. Using them as a control machine is difficult due to the lack of universal programs. For this we have created several simple applications for Android. We hope that they will be useful to you in creating both training and demo solutions and more.
